Finding Their Dream Home Was Like A Hollywood Love Story For Dianna And Gonzalo

Dianna and Gonzalo's Dream Home Love Story
When I visited Gonzalo and Dianna’s home recently, I had the opportunity to see how truly happy they and their daughters are with the lives they’re building in their new home and neighborhood. When someone finds their dream home it is a lot like falling in love. Like a Hollywood love story, it can have its dramatic moments.
This story started with our helping Dianna and Gonzalo prepare their home for the market and getting it sold, and that started well. They did their part by making the house shine, and we had a sales contract ratified with a rent-back within days. Then the hunt for the dream home began… with just two months to find “true love”!
As we searched, there were a few flirtations with several lovely homes, but none that were truly “Mr./Ms. Right.” Then their dream home appeared. The home had all the space, character and curb appeal Dianna and Gonzalo wanted and was in a wonderful neighborhood. The sellers for this home were on the rebound after a breakup with an earlier buyer (a contract which fell through because of buyer’s remorse). Because of that earlier experience, the sellers were nervous about committing again.
We still had to settle on Dianna and Gonzalo’s home sale, and that’s when the road to true love got a little rocky. The lender for the buyers for their home had trouble getting the loan ready on time to close. Delays make everyone nervous. We needed to maintain the trust of the sellers and the listing agent to keep the deal together for our buyers’ dream home. Constant timely communication is key in such a situation, and that’s what Debbie and I did with all parties.
And, just like a Hollywood love story, there was a happy ending… Dianna and Gonzalo and their daughters ended up with the home they love! Check out the video and see for yourself.
